iPod perfection with latest patch
They “fixed” my iPod! Previously the only thing that prevented the my iPod-mini from getting a 10 out of 10 rating, was that it wasn’t possible to listen to the iPod while it was being charged off the laptop.
Previously, when plugging it into the laptop, the iPod would “reboot” into “sync mode”, finish syncing, and then stay in that state and charge. Now when it finishes syncing, it goes back into play mode.
Not a big thing, but irritating when you are listening to an hour long podcast and you don’t want to lose your place or resetup in iTunes.
My point is that the iPod-mini, as a gadget, defines perfection. Which is new to me. And when I say perfect, it is within the narrow scope of, “a gadget that is designed to be a portable music player”. Yes, it is a narrow scope, but how many things are actually “perfect” in their role?
